This dropdown list allows selecting what messages are sent to Messageboard software.

 

Authentication error: Patron authentication failed; possibly an invalid patron identifier or incorrect PIN code.

Block reasons: Send the reason why a patron login was not accepted.

Card forgotten: A patron card was left in the reader slot after a session has ended.

Checkin item added: Mainly for testing purposes, will send a message every time an item is checked out.

Checout item added: Mainly for testing purposes, will send a message every time an item is checked in.

Invalid printer: During startup, if a printer is not found as specified in settings.

Invalid reader: During startup, if an RFID or barcode reader is not found as specified in settings.

Library connection ok: When a library system connection (SIP server) is formed. This happens at application startup, and can also happen after a broken connection is re-established.

Library in offline: When SIP connection is lost, but offline functionality is allowed, this message will be sent.

Librid closed: When Librid is closed down.

Librid started: At Librid startup.

No library connection: When SIP connection is lost and offline functionality is NOT allowed, this message is sent.

Printer error: Printer is in error state, for example out of paper, or disconnected.

Printer ok: When printer returns from error state, this message is sent. It can indicate for example that a paper had run out and is now replaced with a new roll.

Printer paper near end: If POS printer drivers are used, the printer can report that it is low on paper, before actually running out.

Unknown patron: When an unknown patron attempts to log in.
