If this setting is enabled, item identifier is displayed on the screen as soon as the RFID tag data is read. The device will then send the SIP message to retrieve the item title, and replace the ID on screen with the title when it is available. This makes the response of the device seem faster (as identifiers appear on screen quite quickly) but it may seem strange to users to see the item identifiers to begin with.

If this setting is disabled, item identifiers are not shown on screen, only titles when they are available. This may make the device appear to respond slower, especially if there is a lot of latency in the SIP responses.
