The cabinet can send notifications through email and/or to Message board or Dahsboard applications. Email notifications require some configuration (see Email connection info ). Message board / Dashboard require a network connection through Master controller, but no other configuration.

Note that repeated email messages with similar content may be caught by spam filters; the sender name of emails in each cabinet should be added to a whitelist of email servers / clients, to prevent messages from being tagged as spam.
