Notifications > Messages sent to Message board / Dashboard

The following notifications are only sent to Message board / Dashboard applications.

•Application has been started

•Application is being closed

•Receipt printer status returns to OK after a failure (paper out or error)

•Library service connection (SIP) is restored after a failure

•Library service is disconnected during a session, and offline is allowed (in Offline settings)

•Shelf reader is reconnected after a connection failure

•Shelf reader has a data read failure while reading tags

•Door and / or lock status can not be read due to an IO card reader error

•And RFID patron card is detected in session inventory

All of these are situations that typically do not require staff attention, with the exception of the door / lock status failure if it persists or happens frequently.
