The following list defines messages that can be sent as emails in addition to being sent to Message board / Dashboard. The first list of messages will always be sent as emails, if the email settings have been configured:
•Inventory changes (added and/or removed items) noticed in "check inventory", which is run when door is closed after it has been opened without logging in, or when application has been idle for a number of minutes stated in setting Idle timeout for check inventory (min)
•When number of items in the cabinet is less than the threshold stated in setting Low inventory level threshold for email alert after an inventory
•When number of items in the cabinet exceeds the threshold level stated in setting High inventory level threshold for email alert after an inventory.
The next list of messages will be sent as emails if email settings have been configured, and the messages have been selected from Send email notifications about setting dropdown list (flag name in "double quotes"):
•Library service is disconnected ("Critical errors")
•Library service is disconnected during a session ("Critical errors")
•Session inventory fails (retry count is specified in setting Number of inventory attempts before failing ("Critical errors")
•Shelf reader is disconnected ("Critical errors")
•When door has been opened without logging in or from maintenance mode (practically a break-in) ("Door has been left open")
•When lock is closed while door is still open and door was not opened by a patron logging in or an administrator from maintenance mode (practically a break-in) ("Door has been left open")
•When door has been open (during a session or in maintenance mode) for a number of minutes stated in setting Door alert timeout (minutes) (this message is resent every time the timer elapses until the door is closed) ("Door has been left open")
•When door is closed after an alert has been sent for keeping it open for too long ("Door has been left open")
•An empty tag is encountered in session inventory ("Empty tags")
•When library service rejects a check-in ("Failed check-ins")
•When library service rejects a checkout ("Failed checkouts")
•When a hold item is checked in ("Hold items")
•When a set item is checked in with one or more parts missing ("Incomplete sets")
•When a set item with one or more parts missing is checked out ("Incomplete sets")
•When the number of items checked out in one session is larger than the threshold stated in setting Item checkout limit ("Large checkouts")
•Receipt printer is offline, out of paper etc. ("Printer errors")
•A tag read/decode error (invalid tag/corrupt data/unknown data model) is encountered in session inventory ("Tag read errors")
•When a transfer item is checked in ("Tag read errors")
