At the very top right corner of the browser interface are menu command Live view, Setup and Help. All settings are found from the Settings part.

By default, the cameras do not have motion detection enabled. This is controlled by an application in the camera (the camera contains an embedded Linux computer and thus works quite a lot like a computer). To begin, select Applications from the settings menu. Find the motion detection app from the Installed Applications list, and click the Start button below; the motion detection app is now enabled.

You can control more settings of the motion detection, such as sensitivity and masking of areas you do not wish to trigger, by double-clicking the Motion Detection app on the list. This will take you to its settings.

Once the motion detection app is enabled, you can continue making it work by setting the FTP picture upload settings.
